Notes / Track List
Irish director and co-writer Lance Daly’s historical revenge epic unfolds in 1847, during Ireland's Great Famine. A military deserter (James Frecheville) returns home to Connemara to discover that his mother is dead and his brother has been executed by the occupying British forces. Instead of migrating to America, he decides to plot a vendetta against the British officials and complicit local elites who are responsible for the tragedies in his community. ~ Rovi
